About Villa Shalimar

Shalimar was built by our father in 2001 as the family home. In 2021 we refurbished the whole house, added the ground floor suites and set it up for holiday rentals.

The name honours our maternal grandmother, who was born in India and often spoke of the beautiful Shalimar Bagh, in the Kashmir Valley.

The house is built to the highest standards available in the Canary Islands. Continuous air chamber walls, solid sapele wood, Porriño granite, Gres-tiled floors, Santos kitchen furniture, Bosch kitchen appliances, Schock and Tres tapware, and double-glazing in all 2021 glass.

The villa is in a three-thousand square metre walled plot with electric gates, parking space for seven cars and gardens throughout. For guests’ safety it has interconnected smoke alarms in all bedrooms, fire extinguishers, first-aid kit, and safe deposit box.
